My husband and I will be on this trip as well and are in So Cal. We're all used to warm weather so I'm not worried about it. Will definitely be hotter at Ayers Rock, but we're only there overnite and will probably be similar to our desert weather. New Zealand will be cooler. It's our first time as well. We'll look forward to meeting you guys and let's touch bases as the time grows nearer to compare notes on specific details.
So Cal Girl: Our trip is getting closer. Are you and your husband flying in early to Melbourne? I posted something the other day about possibly doing the Ocean Road drive the 29th, but that would require us to miss the opening meet and greet dinner. We're in just the one extra day so that's the only real time we could do this tour. Are you flying over from LAX?
