Anticipating our May 12 trip. Would like to say Hello to any other travelers on this trip.
We are arriving Vienna a couple of days early. Any suggestions on sight seeing on our own that is not included in the itinerary would be appreciated.

    I've been to Vienna 3 times. See a performance at the Opera House - just a beautiful building. See the Kaisergruft - Remains of the Hapsburgs and many others including Maria Theresa . See the Spanish Riding School. Evan if you can't see a performance they do allow you in for the practices. The lipizzaner's are wonderful. Grinzing is the wine area , suburb of Vienna. Fun restaurants, beer/ wine houses. You can take a taxi. There is an amusement park with one of the original huge ferris wheels {the Prater}. This is a wonderful city to just walk around and enjoy. By the way, Demel is one of the most famous pastry shops in Europe. Your friend , Bruce
