Is anyone going to Florence this May? What do people recommend seeing on Tuesday afternoon? Where should we eat lunch and dinner on Tuesday?

    My husband and I traveled last May. We went across the Arno to the Michelangelo Plaza for breathtaking views of the city, and on to the church of San Salvatore and the monastery of San Miniato al Monte, not far from the plaza. We walked, but you could easily take a taxi one or both ways. Check out Gargani for dinner and their amazing bruschetta. We also tried out a recommendation from the hotel staff, Trattoria 13 Gobbi, but were not at all impressed.
