Economy "comfort"

Researching Delta/KLM enroute to and from the safari, the option of "comfort" economy seating keeps popping up. We'll be traveling from Atlanta for the trip so we're wondering if anyone has any idea how much extra it costs and if it's a highly recommended option(I assume it is). Thanks for the help.

    We are traveling the same route on May 14. Are you by any chance on the same tour? We are staying 2 nights in Amsterdam and 2 extra nights in Arusha before the tour begins.

    Delta quoted us $126 per person for "comfort economy" from Atlanta to Amsterdam. I would assume that any extra inches of space would be worth it so that we can try to get some sleep!

    We thought the KLM upgrade was worth it for the legroom if you are tall

    These are long flights. We upgraded to comfort and were happy we did.
