We are on the March 3rd tour...coming in on th 1st...anyone else on this tour? Suggestions for places to visit before tour begins and restaurants would She great!

    I am not on that tour, but if you have a free day before the tour start, I suggest you look at a day tour of Great Ocean road. Leaves the city at 7am and returns 9pm and costs $105. Looking at your tour itinerary, it does not seem that you venture outside Melbourne during the formal part of the tour, so this would be an opportunity to see other parts of Victoria.

    Not being from Melbourne, I am not in a position to provide any restaurant recommendations. However, there is a well known eating strip in Lygon Street, Carlton (close to the city) as well as many other places around the city that may suit you tastes.
