Hi Traveler - have you reviewed the Tanzania forum on TripAdvisor? If not, I suggest you do so - you'll find lots of good info there.
The general feeling on there regarding the e-visa is to not use it yet. Seems they are still working out the kinks. But have a look there yourself, and maybe even post a query.
