Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand trip starting evening of December 6th

We are from Houston and are arriving early morning of the 5th. Anyone else going on this trip and arriving early? If so, do you have Hanoi plans for your free time? Would be happy to meet people early!

    Look into an overnight cruise in Halong Bay. Depending on your arrival time, you should be able to take the one night excursion and still get back in plenty of time for your welcome dinner. The ride from Hanoi to Halong Bay is about 3 hours and you return to Hanoi mid afternoon.

    We’re looking at this trip for Jan/FEb in next couple of yrs. What was weather like? We don’t like real hot and muggy. Thx.

    Cool and a bit cold at that time!

    Lan Ha bay or Bai Tu Long bay is less touristy than Ha Long bay.
