I can't tell whether the "Magic of Morocco" tour goes into the Atlas Mountains. Does it? If not, has anyone arranged a trip to the mountains on his or her own?

The tour does not go into the Atlas Mountains. I expect you could make arrangements for an excursion locally.
Wasn’t the Atlas Mountains area the worst hit from the earthquake? We had a tour in mind for Morocco that included the Mountain area for 2025 and assumed it would have to be changed.
I don't know. There are still tours advertised on Viator and similar websites.
