My husband and I are going on the tour August 8th, and would love to know if anyone has restaurant suggestions in Calgary.

    We have never been to Calgary and are planning on visiting Heritage Park Historical Village and after some research we have dinner reservations at River Cafe. I can let you know after how it was if you'd like.

    Hi Meryl:

    I was on this tour last August. (my first Tauck tour) You will have a wonderful time. Truly amazing sights.

    Plenty of restaurants with a great park 5 min away. We ate in Westin's hotel rest. called the Keg, primarily a steak rest. Menu on line. They are a chain in Canada.

    Food and service was very good. i would compare it to Morton's/Ruth Chris in the U.S.
