Excursion option-Lava & Viking Adventure

We just got an email describing excursion options for the Iceland tour. Does anyone have information or experiences concerning the day2 option called “Lava & Viking Adventure”? is it a guided tour or a do it yourself event? What kinds of Viking adventures are to be experienced? Was it worth the time and effort? Any suggestions about this option or or any of the other optional excursions would be most welcome.

    I have to make the same options but this is a brand new tour concept so no one has taken the tour yet. But I can tell you it will be a guided tour.
