We are planning to do Switzerland: Europe's Crown Jewel in 2019. The dates are pretty open at this point in time. What is the best time of year to take this tour. Does the weather play a role in timing?

    If you go to the tour page, "Before You Go" tab, then "Preparing to Go" you find a section on weather that gives general climatology, max/min. temps, and rainfall for each month at selected locations on the tour. Since few people have taken the tour more than once, they will have nothing to compare, so can only report on what it was like during their trip. Another suggestion is to Google "Best time to visit Switzerland."
