I am wondering which power plugs and sockets in Tanzania and also if the lodges have adapters to borrow.
We, like many travelers, bring our own adapter (we use only one adapter and a small, multi-outlet, travel power strip to charge multiple devices) so have never asked if any of the lodges had loaners. You can check the lodge websites but doubt you'll find an answer. It is better to be safe than sorry- bring your own. Simple Google search- primarily type G (UK plug) and rarely older type D are used in Tanzania.
Single G and D, and universal (many configurations) adapters are cheap and available at most department stores- Target, Walmart, Amazon.
Typical travel 4-way multi-outlet strip. Some are available with USB outlets too.
