Route From Amsterdam to the Rhine

Does anyone know the route that the cruise ship takes from Amsterdam to the Rhine River? Does it go through Arnhem or does it go by canal down to the Waal River? I ask this question from a WWII historical perspective.

    We did the Rhine/Moselle cruise a few years ago and the transit from Amsterdam was at night which it looks like you're will be as well. That's pretty standard especially on the shorter cruises like this one. Spend all day touring the sights, get on board in the late afternoon and get underway during dinner. If it's summer time with later hours you may see more.
