I’ve been watching the Windstar itineraries as a possible backup if our Africa crashes. In the last day or two there have been dramatic changes in the Caribbean. I suspect it is exactly the issue you describe above. They have to determine ‘where’ they can go. They have people that are paid to figure that out. My sister once did a cruise that only hit one port on the original itinerary due to hurricanes. AmaWaterways operated a four month season last year successfully with no major problems.
