  • Can you imagine white shoes in Sedona or in Roussillon France?

The Switzerland tour has the cocktail reception in the Ice Palace at Jungfrau Joch. Very slippery.

  • On our recent Classic Italy Small groups, during the day every one was wearing some sort of sneaker/athletic shoes. I like my Allbirds quite a bit.
For evening, shoes that were a bit nicer were worn by most folks. I wore sandels, John wore a pair of dressier Eccos. Ecco Soft Lace up Sneaker

  • For walking tours I like Taos sneakers, which come in a variety of styles and colors. They have great arch support, and I wore them for all of the walking we did in Israel and Jordan. Plus, they don’t look like heavy athletic shoes. I also bring a nice pair of sandals or flats for evenings if needed.

  • That Ice Palace reception is a new addition since my tour. Yes it was slippery...and cold. I seem to remember we returned to town afterwards on our own schedule.

  • We left as a group. Trains down to the bus waiting for us.
