Sintra palace closed - severe wildfire danger
Portugal and Spain ( along with other parts of Europe) undergoing bad heat wave plus wild fires in Portugal. Not a good time to be there. I know some tours include Sintra and we hope to see it this fall.
Another reason why these days it's a good idea to pack a wardrobe that allows you to adjust to different weather rather than worrying about being dressy enough for fine dining.
