Essence of Japan....dress

It is getting close to our April 8th tour and I am wondering how dressed up do folks get for dinner?
I assume during the day, dress is casual.
I would appreciate guidance. Thanks.

    Went on this trip last year same time as you are going. Layers during the day and include a rain jacket. Only two nights were a bit more dressy, but some people wore jeans, so anything goes. Have a great time. My review is posted under Essence of Japan
