Leaving for this trip in 2 weeks
First time tour with Tauk. Any recs or suggestions? Already have dinner reservations in Capri. Hoping to have enough free time at the Santa Caterina Hotel for some swim time in the Tyrrhenian Sea. We also have one day in Naples before the tour starts. Looking for recs. Thanks

Hello ChristopherDavis. Our friends took this tour in May and loved it! We were supposed to do it last year but had a family emergency.
Here is a thread from last year which is pretty comprehensive:

Capella San Severo for the veiled Christ needs advance tickets:

Have a wonderful time!
Wan's link will have great information for you. They have change the itinerary slightly since we went two years ago. We had the same local guide for our days in Naples, Ischia and Capri. She was absolutely awesome and commutes in from Sorrento. We did see veiled Christ on our walking tour of Naples. A great day trip is to go the the island of Procida by ferry. Some in our group did the underground tours a really liked them.
The ferries are general public transportation and it is like riding a train in Europe in second class. The ferry business is family run and regulated if you know what I mean. They are perfectly acceptable to ride on. Sit towards the back where there is less motion. Use the restrooms before you dock. I see that you have a private boat from Ischia and Capri which is a great change.
In Capri the convertible taxis are great. After touring San Michele you will have some free time to shop or even ride the chair lift to the top. Time is tight so you may find it difficult to do both. For handmade sandals done while you wait, try CE Capri. It is on the street going to San Michele. The hotel pool is great and you should have enough free time to take dip or wonder around Capri. Take a short stroll over to the Giardini di Augusto for a great view. On the boat ride around the island they will get you over to the Faraglioni rocks but if it is too rough they will cut the ride short. The blue grotto is not included.
The pool in Amalfi is a great way to unwind and of course you need to take a dip in the sea. In the late afternoon in September it will be somewhat shady. They have a shuttle that runs between the hotel and Amalfi itself. They do not recommend walking since do to the narrow streets filled with crazy drivers and buses.
Have a great trip
