Doesn't always work, but I always ask the TD to get a digital version of the group picture from the photographer and email it to all of us on the tour. It's easier to share with others that way, and you know you have a copy. If you don't get a hard copy, you can print one from your digital version.
We have done 5 tours. Disappointed in the Tour we just returned from. The head TD was not up to the golden standard in our other tours. Difficult to understand her. Always on her cell. The other female was OK. She got us lost looking for local guide and more walking then necessary. The “student in training” who was with Tauck was not there to help others who got behind. There were 9 of us. We were dangerously trying to cross busy streets. No sign of student. We finally got to our destination and complained. She said “student” was suppose to be with you. We told her he disappeared, 10 min later he appears. Not good. He was also on his cell continuously. The other male TD was great. We were on Riverboat most expensive cabin. Our cabin had a very small closet. I checked other rooms and they had larger walk in closets. We were on another riverboat in 2018 and had a large walk in closet. Our cabin had a connecting door so took up the entire wall. We paid full price for this cabin. We were not told of this connecting door. Our arrival flight was cancelled just as we were leaving for airport. It was not cancelled, an equipment change so flight # changed, we arrived same time. We called the transfer company and got a recording. Then it hung up. We got thru and had someone who spoke French talk to them and they did not have our names. Very frustrating and we were tired after our very long flights. We finally got a cab. But it took us an hr after we were trying to get thru to transfer company. I also got a no reply email from TAUCK saying flight was cancelled. Let us know your new flight #. It was a no reply so could not answer them. Poorly organized and just caused more frustration for us. This is why we use TAUCK to avoid problems or if there is a problem they handle it seamlessly. We will not be using them again or recommending them.
Our tour director for Botswana, Zambia and SA sent us our group photo. In fact, those who were interested per his suggestion uploaded the app PhotoCircle. It was quite easy because while on the trip, everyone could upload their wonderful photos and they could be shared instantly within the entire group. I don’t understand everything about PhotoCircle but the basics worked with the pics I wanted to share.

I thought Tauck had stopped official group photos. We have not had any for ages. Any taken are shared in a casual way.
