To appreciate the lavender and sunflowers, that is too early.

We prefer the cooler months...spring and fall. However, mid-Jun to mid-Aug is generally the lavender season, with the most vibrant purple blooms in mid-Jul. I read recently that with the ravages of climate change, growers in the Provence area may have to start planting farther north. Of course, this would be gradual. I hope you have the joy of experiencing the blooms. Best wishes.
We too are looking at May 2025...the 18th...any feedback on "Active" and the Pace levels are?
Tauck's website for this tour offers some information regarding activity levels. There can be walking on uneven surfaces and fairly steep inclines. Only you know your mobility and stamina levels.

B_Raines17 - I do hope you decide to go. The region is so beautiful and culturally enriching. On prior Tauck tours, the directors always knew how to take shortcuts so that everyone can participate in events. If you do go, please report back.
