Question about overnight duffels (Portrait of India)

On the days where you pack an overnight duffel, are the duffels carry-ons or checked on the flights?

Are these flights full-size planes (eg. 737 or similar) or small commuter-type plans such as the RJs?

    We are currently on this tour. The duffles are checked by the TD an are in the hold. Be extra careful to not leave ANY electronics in bag. No charges, electric toothbrushes, batteries, etc. They are hyper sensitive so bring on board.We have taken regular passenger flights and our next one is a prop job. Hope this helps.
