Activity level and steps post knee replacement
This tour is ranked a 3 for both activity level and pace. It looks so beautiful and of course part of its beauty is its elevation above the sea. Obviously there will be steps. My question is whether someone several months post knee replacement could do ok.......are there hundreds of steps? Are there options to avoid steps at times (not always, just sometimes)?

Which specific tour and how mobile are you now as everyone varies with recovery
The specific tour is A Week in...Naples, Capri & Amalfi. Ok with steps, but still not conditioned to do 50-100 at a time. The pictures would lead you to think you have to climb a lot of steps to reach your hotel, or to visit the town from your hotel. Hoping someone who has done this specific tour could offer their experience.
Great tour. Hotel Vesuvius: one or two steps to get in. At most a half flight to get to the restaurant on the top floor after getting off the elevator. Hotel Quisiana: minimal stairs, less than 1/2 flight. You will need to walk from where the convertible taxi drops you off to the hotel with a slight incline. Maybe 500 yards. Hotel Santa Caterina: Bus drops you at the front door. Minimal steps. Elevator to take you down to the pool and seaside area. Naples not a lot of steps. One or two flights to get down into Herculaneum. The walking tour in Naples had minimal steps but did have uneven surfaces. Aargonese Castle had a small elevator to use if one didn't do the steps. Capri was mostly paths with some incline/decline. Ravello again is more incline/decline rather than steps. You will need to be able to get in/out of ferries and smaller boats. I would suggest at least taking a cane just in case.
Thank you Ben for very specific information. This all sounds manageable. I would guess venturing out on our own would require a lot more steps and hills but this is very helpful. Others feel free to offer your perspective as well.
