Tauck Restricted Tours 2025
Good day.
Does anyone know what the discount is for restricted tours for 2025? Is it a different discount dependent upon the tour?
If so, how does one find out the cost prior to the 60 days booking window?
Thank you.

Never heard of such a thing. As far as I know, Tauck rarely discount tours in that way.
I must agree with British. I have no idea what you are talking about. I’ve never heard of a ‘restricted’ tour nor a sixty day booking window.
Well, I was curious and did an internet search. It looks like it is a travel agent discount for certain tours (I guess like a
FAM trip) there is a PDF online that says this:
Travel Advisors cannot apply for a discount until 60 days before departure. River cabin category upgrades are not eligible for Certified Advisor benefit. All suites on River & Small Ship are restricted.
There are about 60 tours listed with their codes and the various restrictions. I am not very computer literate so was unable to cut and paste the entire PDF.
That does sound like a travel agent program. Two of our traveling companions are travel agents, and they are waiting for such a deal for a Windstar trip that we are doing. Most of these deals are fairly short notice, and getting ‘air’ can be a problem on short notice … not to mention availability. All of the trips for next year that we just did to Southern France, are sold out. Our next ‘cruise’ is a discounted trip, but the timing needs to be just right in order for it to work. I typically have our agent to put the trip on hold while I check to see if we can get there without riding for eight hours in a middle seat. Actually, if I can’t get at least premium coach, I don’t go.
