Appropriate Women's Clothing

I am going to Morocco in a few weeks and is it accurate that I will need to keep my knees and elbows covered? Are short sleeves or sleeveless shirts ever appropriate? What about wearing skirts or dresses that slightly show the knee? Also, can I at least wear short sleeves or sleeveless shirts around the hotels?

    Except for entering mosques, you do not need to keep your knees and elbows covered. You can wear whatever you want around the hotel.

    I just to Morocco in October, mainly wore long pants and 3/4 sleeve shirts but there were plenty of people with Capri pants, didn't have to cover my head during visits to the mosque which surprise me.
