AIR TAG BATTERY REPLACEMENT

We have recently had to change batteries on our Air tags and discovered that not all batteries work. Some, such as the Duracell brand have a special coating on them to make them taste bitter to deter children from swallowing them. If you buy their brand, you can now buy them which say Compatible with AirTag on the corner of the package.

    Thanks British! Good to know. I had been using an eraser on some of the batteries thinking it was a contact issue. That helped a little bit.

    I just checked and have the batteries that are marked compatible w/Air Tag. I need to change the batteries on each of my Samsung Smart Tags that I have. One came in handy over a week ago when I tracked my luggage and saw that my bag stayed in Zurich when I landed in Boston. Thankfully it was on the flight the next day and delivered to my door the day after that! Glad to have had the Smart Tag in my luggage.

    Good to see Duracell has awakened. Until now the only batteries that worked reliably with the AirTag were Panasonic. I have an office full of them. We probably have twenty AirTags attached to anything of value. Of course, if I had the memory I had at twenty-five that would not be necessary.
