Budapest to Prague 08/30/2012

We would like to hear from others who are going on this riverboat cruise. We live in the Nashville, TN area, and this is our first European river cruise. We took the Tauck Grand Canadian Rockies tour in July, 2011 and had a wonderful experience. Hopefully the same will be true for this trip. John & Shirley

    Just returned from this cruise and it was fantastic.. The accommodations, food, staff and tours were all outstanding. When you get to Prague be sure to eat a meal at the Pilsner-Urquel restaurant around the corner from the hotel, excellent meal for two under $20. We were wishing we could have tried some of their other offerings. You will have a wonderful time. And.....the weather should be a lot cooler.

    I took this trip a few years ago just a week before you are going. The beginning and end where very warm. Wore shorts in Budapest. The middle of trip was colder than we expected and had to buy a nice hand made sweater. If you have time see a concert in Prague. I went to Liechtenstein Castle, it was a quartet and was really nice and comical at times. Have fun.
