Fabulous trip in progress-beware Bilila drinks

We are having a fabulous trip in progress with Seth our director and cannot say enough nice things about him and all the activities we have done, and the incredible animal sightings we have had, and the tour has really just begun, will post more later about some of our experiences regardingthe need for seat pads, etc., but felt the need to pass on that if you like to have a cocktail, at Bilila Lodge they will serve you a half shot and claim it is a full shot and a double is really one shot, they upon questioning showed their "shot" measures andthey are measuring one half ounce as a single and one ounce as a double. They state that after Fairmont takes over maybe this will change, meanwhile, beware. Now, after doing nothing but complaining here, one must understand that this is the only thing that we have found that was not within the realm of "TIA" , translated as This Is Africa and that it is totally out of Tauck's hands. Planning to post more details for help with future packing, etc., later, dependingon internet.

We just returned and our trip was great but you can expect the small drink in more places - 30 ml for a single and 60 ml for a double. Best drink prices were at Masai Mara Safari Club.
