The Royals visiting Down Under

Hi Guys

I just saw that the Prince and Princess are going to be in Australia in April.
Does anyone know the dates and places they will travel.

I want to know what to wear just in case they spot me on the Tauck trip, starting April 14th, and invite me to join
them in a spot of afternoon tea. After all, if the Queen wants the Pricess to lower her hemline I want to make sure I am correctly dressed.

I had read somewhere where they were heading our way later in the year but as I'm not a monarchist I truly didn't give it a second thought. I'll see what I can find for you.

Gosh! I've not been asked this before. Your correspondent has resorted to Google to find this:

William and Kate's office said in a statement:
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit New Zealand and Australia in April 2014.
"Their royal highnesses have been invited to visit by the New Zealand and Australian governments.
"Further details on the exact dates and itinerary will be issued in due course."

I don't think that due course has happened yet. It's probably under wraps till March. Just your correspondent's guess. What would she really know?

No dates have been announced yet, I believe it is not usually until about 8 weeks before.
If the visit is while you are there, there is a chance of course that if the royal couple are taken to a place where Tauck may be taking you, that it may be closed to the public and your tour may have to be tweeked That would be considered out of Tauck's control, you see there's always a down side!

Gosh guys I was really joking. Didn't you notice the afternoon tea (as if they would invite someone).
I am not a Royal watcher either. In fact I had to google because when creating the post I had forgotten her name.

I was wondering about the chance of Tauck trip being interrupted.
I know how it is when President Obama moves around in an area.
They block streets for hours, don't give exact time of arrival, and his motorcade is normally 25 or more cars.
