Oberoi Hotel Delhi Cooking Class
I highly recommend the Cooking class at this hotel. A personal demonstration with a chef, history of India cooking, recipes, a box of spice and of course a dinner that you just saw cooked afterwards plus two desserts. The class is two hours long and ours began at 4-30 pm so we were eating about 6-30pm. A great way to spend an evening before the start of your Tauck tour.

We also did the Tea Tasting excursion through the Oberoi New Delhi which was nice and got to sample a number of teas.
In Jaipur we did the Elephant Safari excursion (also through the Oberoi hotel). After a 45 minute elephant ride they drive you to Fort Naila at the top of the mountain (also Mr Oberoi's private residence in Jaipur) and had a nice boxed meal of finger sandwiches and desserts, and drinks prepared by the Oberoi staff. Our tour director helped us to book this one in advance of our arrival in Jaipur.
