Hello fellow travelers,

The weather forecast for our trip seems to be colder than usual weather. Just wanted to alert all of you to bring some warmer clothing. Hats, gloves, and fleece are a good idea for traveling on the safari vehicles.

Anyone else on this Forum going on this trip? Would love to get an idea of our group members. I am traveling with four other adults, three of us from NJ. Looking forward to meeting all of you next week.

it's winter in South Africa, low 40's early morning are the norm. We went in August and it was hats coats and blankets when we first set out early mornings. And I don't usually feel cold. But how lovely when it warms up without getting too hot.

The long range forecast is similar for our trip. Low 40's in the morning and at night.
