Sightseeing in Amsterdam

Arriving a day early for departure from Amsterdam to Budapest and wonder if Anne Frank House is included in the day tour by Tauck. Otherwise my husband and I would go on our own.

    No it is not included. Walking it is not far. Was told halfway between bus pickup and ship dock.

    If you go to the Anne Frank Museum (house) website, it tells you that in July and August the lines can be two hours long. It also tells you that tickets sell out weeks in advance if you get them on line. I do not know when you are going, but suggest trying for on-line tickets to save you lots of time. It's about twenty years since I was there, but it must have been September and the line was very very long, but it was one of the most moving places I have ever been.
