Dress for men N Italy?

Taking the Bellisima N Italy tour soon. Appropriate dress for men? Sport jacket necessary for restaurants on tour? Jeans acceptable most places? Bermuda shorts---it has been a hot summer? Any other tips? We have travelled quite a bit, but never on an organized trip like this one and not with Tauck.

If you have looked around and felt that what you were wearing was ok on your other trips, I suggest that what you take on a Tauck tour will also be fine. The shall I wear a jacket/ shall I not weatr a jacket on this forum is endless, just endless and the answers are endless too. Jeans. Are you going in summer. Do you want to be too hot! Then wear jeans! Nice cotton pants, better.
