should I expect to get China's local currency at the airport in Beijing when I arrive to tip the transportation provider taking me to the hotel? If not I would prefer to do an exchange at the hotel.

    Tips for transport to your hotel from the airport are always included on Tauck tours, as long as you are staying at the Tauck hotel, even if you arrove a couple of days early. Read all the links on the website, including 'Before You Go' and 'Need to Know' and your final paperwork and you will find this kind of information.

    you will probably get a better rate from an atm at the airport than from the hotel
