Venice,Florence & Rome September 11,2016

We are on the Venice, Florence, Rome trip that starts September 11,2016. We are arriving on Saturday September 10. We fly from LAX on a very early flight that stops in Philadelphia with 4 hour layover. Our flight arrives 9:30 am in Venice , but this is an FYI for anyone else arriving early. Tauck said they have contracts with hotel that does not allow early check in UNLESS there is a room available. So if there are any other early arrivals be aware of this.

My husband and I are on this trip as well and we will also be arriving early. We plan on dropping our bags at hotel and hitting the city. We are being told by a lot of people to fight the jetlag and stay active. We are fully aware they rooms may not be ready until later in the day...but we plan on making the best of it...

Yes we too will not let jet lag get to us, we have learned that. And do as much as we can on our own in Venice

The bell captain will be more than happy to store your bags until your room is ready, and see that they are taken to your room while you are roaming the city.
