No sure way to know. The Before You Go tab on the website here for the cruise will have historic averages but as with all weather lately that's subject to change. Looks like 60s and 70s. A day or 2 before you leave do an internet search for 10 day forecasts in the main stops like Amsterdam, Basel, etc. We did the Rhine Moselle last Oct and had very cool and often wet weather. A friend did the same route the same time the previous year and had great weather.
If you're looking for packing advice. Plan on layers - e.g. thin base layer top, a sweater, a windbreaker or rain jacket. We only took long pants, no shorts or sandals, but didn't need dressy clothes. Dress slacks and dress shirt/top were fine. Definitely need a sweater or wrap for evenings on board. When it's cool at night it gets chilly sitting next to the ships windows and side walls.
Lucky you. Was what I had hoped for. The only good thing about the cooler temps were the beautiful fall colors - especially along the Moselle and the drive to Lucerne.
