Curious to know whether travelers are using malaria pills and if so what kind.

    We haven't taken this tour yet but have been on many Tauck destinations where malaria meds are necessary. You are going to have to get a prescription from a doctor, preferably a travel specialist doctor who will be able to give you the correct one for the area of the world you are traveling to. So don't sweat and let that doctor decide. We have taken several types and never had any issues. It is best you talk with a Doctor who you can give all your medical history to and any medications you are already taking.
