Cat 6 Cabin question
Sailing on the MS Inspire in Oct. in a Cat 6 cabin. Does anyone know if there is an electric outlet on the long wall near the table and chairs? Thanks.

Although I can't answer your question specific to your cabin category, I can say that I have never had an issue with inadequate amounts of outlets on Tauck's riverboats. I travel, however, with only two items that need charging. Hope this helps.
Sorry I don't believe there is. We've been in the Cat 6 cabin several times on Tauck's shorter ships like the Emerald, Sapphire which have a 3 drawer dresser on that wall and electric outlets. For some reason on the longer ships like the Inspire, Joy, etc they didn't include those. There are lots of outlets including some in a small niche just outside the bathroom where you could set something small like a smartphone on the shallow shelf.
The MS Joy was featured at a big river cruise convention in Europe last spring and there are several videos on youtube that show the various cabins. You're welcome. Its our favorite category cabin. My husband and I have found there's plenty of space, storage and light. We'll be in one on the Grace later this year.
