Visit to Etretat and Honfleur OR Caen and Bayeux
On our upcoming Tauck river cruise to Normandy, we have a choice to visit Etetat and Honflaeur OR Caen and Bayeux on Bay 9. After reading both tour descriptions, they both sound interesting. Do you have any guidance on what tour we should take?

This has actually be answered a few times in the various Seine river cruises. FYI - you posted in the land tour.
Basically it comes down to what interests you more. Etretat - amazing costal scenery and a bit of shopping. Honfleur - quaint fishing village and a bit of shopping. Caen - impressive WWII museum. Bayeux - the tapestry about William the Conqueror's 1066 invasion of Britain.
I have done both as part of Seine river cruise and the Brittany/Normandy land tour. Given the choice I would go with Etretat/Honfleur. I enjoy being outside more the inside. The Caen option will have a 730ish start and the bus ride is roughly 1.5 hours or a little more each way.
I chose the Caen / Bayeux tour and was not disappointed, the Museum is very impressive and the tapestry is amazing, you don't spend all the time indoors.
