"A Week in London and Paris" - is the Day 7 museum visit to the Cluny Museum?
Hello, all!
Day 7 of this trip says, "Enjoy a visit to a local museum this morning" and we're wondering if that museum will be the Cluny museum? We're on another trip the week before that is scheduled to visit the Cluny. Rather than visit the same place twice, we would schedule something else (which requires ticket & time reservation), while the rest of the tour visits the Cluny.
Of course, anything can happen, and things can change, just gathering info. I have also just sent a message to Tauck about it, but sometimes past tour-goers have good information, as well.
TIA ~

You'd do better to call Tauck. The agents have more detailed itineraries than the ones on the website/brochure.
As noted, I did message Tauck counselors about it just prior to posting here...they've been very responsive and informative to a couple of questions I earlier had, but oddly, nothing on this after now 2 attempts. Could be they're needing more time to confirm, or could be a site glitch, so I replied to their earlier email on another topic
I'll give that a few days, then pick up the phone.
They take a long time to reply to email messages, you are better just calling then.
I did call, and got a typically Tauck very pleasant surprise. The 'morning visit to a museum' is to be the Louvre. Guess we won't be skipping the morning museum visit
Good news, my daughter and her family are in Paris at the moment. I was surprised to hear that no timed tickets are required for Notre Dame. The line is in constant motion and their’s was just a ten minute wait. Apparently the day before was much longer so they took a chance and went the next day.
We're thinking of trying for an early Thursday evening (the day of our arrival into Paris) visit to visit ND. We'll try for reservations for that time, just in case, but how great your daughter only had to wait 10 minutes!
My daughter said you don’t need reservations, you just stand in line.
