Visiting Muslim countries

What are the parameters for men & women’s dress when going on excursions in Muslim countries? Can you wear shorts when on your tour? Can you visit a mosque in shorts?

    It depends which Muslim countries you are referring to. When we went to the middle Eastern countries, it was extremely strict, I even had to cover up the few inches of wrist area I was showing. No hair must show on women. Last month, in Morocco, it was very different. They accept shorts that go to the knees and T shirts that come midway between your armpit and elbow on tourists. No head coverings required either.
