Going to Alaska this August (2025)...looking for suggestions on what to pack

    Hot, cold, wet, dry. I’ve cruised the inland passage three times in August. Two weeks were very warm, shorts weather, with cool to cold when we visited the glaciers. One week cold and rain the entire time. If you’re asking about dress up on the ship, I’ll punt.

    First, as FD said, it can be anything … warm, cold, wet, dry. We have the same issue with our Iceland trip. I’ve been to both Alaska and Iceland many times while working. Just a note for the new posters … it is helpful if you post using the proper name of the tour. There are many trips that do the same places either on land, or small ships, or riverboats, and the boat may be different on different trips. If you are specific with the trip description, you will get better answers to your questions. And, then there is Westbound or Eastbound, or Northbound, or Southbound. They are all different.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph.
