Visa Central/ Kenya Visa Great Migration

Can you share what flight info you placed in your Kenya Visa application?
I entered Airkenya Express flight and my Delta flight home from Jomo Kenyatta airport and am getting rejected.
Also what have you been charged? I am seeing multiple charges on my credit card.
Thanks for your input. J

  • Do be sure you are on the corrected websites as there are many fakes. Are you using the link that Tauck provides? Multiple charges sound suspicious.

  • Here are the links that Tauck provides. You can find them on the tour page under Important Info

‘Please Note: E-visas are available for both Kenya and Tanzania. Visas may not be processed more than 3 months prior to departure and, once obtained; you should print out a copy for one or both countries, before departing for your journey.

For Tanzania to obtain your evisa, please visit: https://immigration.go.tz/. The point of entry into Tanzania is Arusha, Tanzania. Visa fees are not included in the tour cost.

For Kenya to obtain your eTA (evisa) travelers from the U.S., Canada, U.K. Australia and many other countries should visit: www.etakenya.go.ke. The point of entry into Kenya is Namanga, Kenya. Visa should be submitted no more than 90 days and the processing fee of $34 USD is not included in the tour cost. It is recommended that families apply as a group.

Please Note: Guests who choose to alter their air arrangements to fly round trip via Nairobi may be required to obtain a multiple-entry visa, rather than the single-entry Kenyan visa required for our program.’

  • Ah, you are using Visa Central, they have multiple charges. If you can do it yourself it’s much cheaper

  • Thanks for your feedback.

  • I typed my flight information for the flight home (in other words, from Kenya to our first layover in Amsterdam) on the form that Tauck sent. Kenya did not take long- less than 24 hours. Tanzania was another story... it took a month. I applied at the beginning of May for our trip in June. Before I received our Tanzanian visas, I reached out to our tour director, who has sent a very informative email. He said not to worry, you can always get one upon arrival.

  • I can’t remedy for sure, but I thought it wasn’t possible to get a visa for Tanzania on arrival any more….we went last year, it’s a fairly new change.
