Has anyone gone on the air balloon ride? Being a shorty I want to make sure I can see over the basket.
We leave the US on 9/12.

    I don’t know how short you are but you won’t have an issue, the top of the basket isn’t that high. Take the balloon ride, it’s worth getting up at 4 am to do. Beautiful scenery, and you’ll have the rest of the day to enjoy Silky Oaks.

    Hello, I am 5'2" and had no trouble at all on that balloon ride. However, we did not have much wind that day and were delayed getting off the ground. I believe we had an alternate itinerary which including a low flight over fields with a few cows and what looked like abandoned equipment. While it was a pleasant and interesting experience, it was not what I had imagined and I wished I had skipped it to stay back at Silky Oaks.

    Ww just did the balloon ride in Tanzania and had our 7 yr old granddaughter with us and she had no trouble seeing. The hard part is getting in and out of the basket. Have fun!

    Yes, you’ll have no trouble at all and IMHO it’s totally worth the 3am wake up call! 😴 😃 It was very peaceful and the view in the sky looked so pretty at sunrise.
