How much time do you get to spend at the actual golf course? Does anyone recommend a private tour, if so which one? We are traveling in late May to early June 2024.

    We were at St Andrews in August. The picture below shows you the weather we experienced.

    That said the Scottish weather seemed to be very dynamic (changing from day to day).

    We were there at the end April last year and it was cold and very windy at the golf course
