Dining reservations at the Raffles
Just a heads up if you're making advance dining reservations at the Raffles. Tauck recommends that you make reservations before your journey for any meals on your own at the Raffles. While this is probably good idea, you should be aware that the "no-show" policies are rather strict. No shows for afternoon tea incur the entire cost of the meal (about $80 US per person). The other restaurant we booked charges about $40 US per person for no shows. You have to cancel 24 hrs in advance or be charged.
I'm not saying you shouldn't make reservations, just be sure you know what you're getting into.

We were able to make reservations at two different restaurants in Raffles through the concierge once on sight. That was in August 2024. Perhaps reservations have gotten more difficult to obtain.
Another interesting thing about Raffles - hotel guests get priority at the Long Bar. There was always a line to get into the Long Bar, but as hotel guests we were able to go to the head of the line. Hopefully that still works.
The only thing we made pre-tour reservations (bought tickets) for was a timed-entry to the Marina Bay Sands viewing tower.
Our tour director booked us lunch reservations at the Marina Bay Sands hotel on the same morning. It’s on the roof with an infinity pool and fantastic views
