Food Tours

We will be on the October 3rd "Week in Spain" trip. We arrive in Barcelona a day early and are considering a food tour on that day. We also have free time on the 4th and may consider a tour then. Any recommendations or experience with these tours in Barcelona ?
thanks in advance

  • Actually, it is easy to do your own food tour and in one location—Mercat de la Boqueria on La Rambla. They also have an array of tapas bars inside the market. It is likely that any organized food tour will take you there anyway.

  • Devour Tours is who Tauck used for our tapas tour in Madrid. We enjoyed it. They have several different versions.

  • Thank you!

  • Take a look at The Barcelona Taste https://thebarcelonataste.com/. They have been around for a long time. They do tours in several areas. One, Poble Sec is off the beaten track and has great tapas bars. If you’ve been on food tours you know how much fun they can be. Barcelona is ideal given the tapas culture. We have also done t with Devour and they are very good. Enjoy!

  • When people go on these food tours, I’d love you to take photos and posts them here. I’ve got a fun photo of me stuffing down a Voodoo donut when the Tauck tour director brought a box of them onto the bus on A Taste of the NorthWest tour years ago. No, I’m not posting it!
