Wonderful video of scenery and music in Ireland

This past May I traveled to Ireland with Tauck and loved it. This morning I came across a You Tube video of the Rock Choir Northern Ireland performing a Cranberries song at the Giant Causeway. Even though I did not travel to Northern Ireland (yet!) I loved this video of the scenery and wonderful music. I don’t know how to post a link, but if you search “Rock Choir Northern Ireland Performs Dreams at Giant Causeway” you can probably find it. I need to go back.

I went to Ireland last September and visited Giant Causeway, quite the experience, it was amazing, so windy I almost got blown away with my umbrella :D:s

  • Also check out the group "Celtic Woman", and especially their rendition of "Danny Boy." Other good ones are "Homeland" and "Going Home".

  • Yes, Smiling Sam, that is it! Thank you.

  • Speaking about Irish music, the next time you find yourself in Dublin go to The Cobblestone Pub. It has the best traditional Irish music in the city and has been in the same family for generations. So much better than listening to
drunk Americans singing “Take Me Home Country Roads” or “Sweet Caroline” in Temple Bar.

  • Thank you SandyFeet! I will add this to the list of places to go. When we were in Dublin, we walked to a pub close to the hotel (The Shelbourne) but there was no live music. I think we will be back in Dublin because my husband wants to go to the Isle of Man to watch the TT races someday.

  • Speaking of Irish music in pubs. Here's a picture (vintage 2008) of my wife helping Richie Roberts, a traditional Irish singer, in a pub in Dunmore East.
