Visa for Zimbabwe
I understand that a visa for Zimbabwe can be obtained when arriving at the airport. Is this easy to do? Do most people on Elegant Adventure do it this way or do they get the visa in advance?

Took this trip in October. Now you can get the visa in advance, which is highly recommended.
Tauck TD obtained a Zimbabwe Visa for our entire group on Elegant Adventure - South Africa - in May 2024. Sounds like Tauck has changed things up quite a bit on their African tours.
not a Tauck change - Zimbabwe change - the TD still paid the fee; we did the paperwork at one of the lodges with all kinds of instruction. I would hope Tauck has it figured out by now so people can do it ahead of time.
Took this tour last August when getting a visa in advance was not an option. We had no problem at the airport. Our TD gave us the cash for the visa, we waited in line, paid the fee, answered some questions, and were through well before our luggage came out. This was the case for all but one member of our group, who for some reason took a really long time to be approved for entry and only came through as we were ready to leave. Applying in advance would be a good idea.
I tried doing the eVisa process, prior to my upcoming April tour. All of the required information (like Zimbabwe arriving flight number) isn’t available.
I’ve reached out to Tauck but haven’t gotten a response yet.
Seems like the only way to do the eVisa would be after arrival in South Africa, prior to arrival in Zimbabwe on Day 10.
Perhaps Tauck will come forth with the required information when final documentation comes out.
