Is there a heated swimming pool on the Le Boreal ship. I'm going in February 2026.. When I called Tauck, the person said yes , the ship has heated swimming pool.

    Look the ship up online, I always do that for ships I am not familiar with. One of the Ponant ships we were on had the pool only half full, not deep enough to swim.
    People on the forum I recall have mentioned the pool is not always in use on the Antarctica trip anyway

    we did Antarctica on Le Lyrial and the pool was full, heated, and used. If they encounter rough seas which is common crossing Drakes passage, they will drain the pool. We had a smooth crossing both ways.

    I was not on Le Boreal but the ship I was on in Antarctica had a heated pool. It saw a lot of use immediately after the Polar Plunge. Over 150 of the guests on the ship did the Polar Plunge (I was not one of them).

    Le Boreal does have a heated pool. They drain it for crossing the Drake Passage, but fill it again in the peninsula. We had some people using it on our ship, but I did not. (I just got back from this trip - I was on the one that left Jan 5)
