Post-Tour Luggage
Has anyone had luck with facilities near the ship which will hold luggage? Disembarkation is likely around 8:30-9:00 am and we have a flight home after 6:00 pm. Tauck indicates that neither the ship nor its post-cruise hotel will hold luggage.

I have not been there but there is always the option of having Tauck take you to the airport or train station and leave your luggage there
Not this tour but some travelers have been allowed to sit in the post-tour hotel with their luggage. I do not believe it was an all-day wait, however.
You will have to be at the airport by 3pm. I have never heard of a hotel that would not hold luggage after someone has checked out. We do that a lot. I would suggest calling the hotel and see if they hold luggage once you check out.
It sounds to me they are not staying at the post hotel.
Yes, I realized afterwards they may be going home from the ship.
Thanks to all. Challenge is that we are using Gift of Time pre-tour and only have the option of Tauck bringing us to the airport from the ship at 9. Rather than waste time going to the airport or staying there all day, we'd much prefer staying in Porto till 3:00 or so. We usually take River trips with land tours on each end, but had to do this one due the calendar.
You can store your luggage at São Bento Train Station in Porto then linger to view its exquisite azulejo tiles, have lunch then stroll along the banks of the river. A lovely day and afternoon in my opinion.
